FAQ

How much does it cost to form an LLC in Washington?

$180 for a Certificate of Formation, plus an online processing fee. A $10 Initial Report is due within 120 days.

Does Washington waive LLC fees for veterans?

None found. We did not find a veteran-specific LLC filing fee waiver or veteran business tax break on the state's official fee and filing pages we checked. That isn't proof that none exists, so check with the state veterans agency.

Do I need a lawyer?

No law requires one to file, but if your situation is complicated a lawyer or accountant can help.
